MARCOS SENNA
Imperious and omnipresent, but it was his modesty that propelled him to stardom as a young player. He became team captain at FC Villarreal, and played a key role in the Spanish national team, with which he won the European Championship in 2008.
Ferran Torres
Ferran loves the mountains and the Spanish countryside. Conscientious, The Spanish international and latest Manchester City signing loves the mountains and the Spanish countryside. Conscientious, grounded and always humble, Ferran understands his responsibility as a role model to lead by example and take action for the benefit of his future, and for that of the generations to come.
Roger Schmidt
The former coach of Bayer 04 Leverkusen now coaches PSV Eindhoven, in the Netherlands. Roger always cared about the environment and with his experience as a professional coach, he does have an impact on his players, but also wants to raise awareness for the environmental problems, humanity is facing.
Alfonso Pedraza
Most of his time, he spends on fields: the football fields, where he already won under-19 and under-21 European Championships, and those that are full of olive trees in his hometown Córdoba. Proud of his roots and always in contact with nature, he is about to launch his own brand of organic extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality.
Joan Jordán
Leadership is one of the qualities that characterise Joan on and off the field.
Recognised one of the most competitive midfielders in Spanish football, the man from Girona has a clear vision and understands the importance of taking action in the face of environmental problems.
As a player with strong, fundamental team values, he decided to get involved in the Kick Out Plastic project and take responsibility for a more sustainable planet.
Unai Nuñez
Passionate about animals and nature, Unai grew up in the Basque Country, which offers beautiful landscapes and great biodiversity. At a young age, he realized that both are endangered, thus he focusses on protecting biodiversity and the environment in general.
Lars Böcking
Long time environmental advocate and lateral thinker, Lars Böcking is the charismatic President of Kick Out Plastic. Inspired to make the world a better place for his children and the next generation, he deeply believes in the power of sport as a vehicle for global change. In his capacity as President, Lars brings with him a breadth of experience in sustainability and its practical application to the business of sport.
Patrick Köppchen
He’s a fighter, one of a kind, with nearly 900 games under his belt over the course of his career. In 2019, the former national ice hockey player hung up his skates and has since been busy with more sustainable projects, such as the production of high-quality hats.
Johannes Polgar
Roman Weidenfeller
This German FIFA World Cup, Bundesliga and domestic cup winner tried to keep a clean sheet for FC Kaiserslautern and Borussia Dortmund in more than 450 professional games, and now that he has retired from the game, the defence of the environment has become one of his priorities. The Westerwald native not only loves the nature of his homeland, but also feels very much at home in the Spanish Mediterranean. As a football commentator on RTL Nitro, Roman is also well aware of his influential role in the media and would like to put it to good use by joining the Kick Out Plastic community.
Simon Licht
Simon is a German actor with a great personality, known for more than 90 German and international film and television productions. He is also passionate about sailing. As an ambassador for Kick Out Plastic, he is aware of his responsibility as a role model, especially as an actor and amateur athlete, and sets a good example to create a better future for himself and future generations.
Jono Macbeth
His heart belongs to the sea. As a professional sailor, the native New Zealander has celebrated great international successes in almost all boat classes. During his sailing career, Jono was particularly inspired by Sir Peter Blake, and this passion for the sea continues after the end of his professional career. As an ambassador for Kick Out Plastic and as a sustainability expert, the father of two would like to use his voice as sustainable opinion leader.

Daniel Herzog
The workout fanatic and Instagram influencer has a great outreach. Working for DAZN as a reporter, Daniel will now grab the microphone and raise his voice in the fight against plastic pollution and give insights into sustainable strategies in the world of sports.
Pablo Andujar
Much more than a tennis player. The Spanish 4-times winner of the ATP Tour, is a natural born winner. As a caring father he is now joining KickOutPlastic, to make sure his voice is heard both on and off the court for the upcoming generations. His constant travels around the world have opened up his eyes to swing his racket against single use plastic!
Claudia Nystad
The top-level German cross-country skier and 2 times Olympic gold medallist, has joined the KickOutPlastic ranks to save her local environment; the mountains. Besides her sports career, she is a caring mother and wants to inspire the next generation for a sustainable lifestyle.
Bernabé Zapata Miralles
Tennis player Bernabé Zapata continues to climb positions in the ATP world ranking and strengthens his commitment to sustainability. The Spanish tennis player, with deeply rooted family values, is involved in this initiative to care for and leave a better planet for upcoming generations. Young and dynamic, Bernabé Zapata is one of Valencia’s iconic athletes. The electric scooter, a non-polluting and sustainable mobility alternative, helps him get around the city.
